Hong Kong Cultural Centre about to turn 20

Hong Kong Cultural Centre is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary and to mark the occasion, four local pianists will perform in a special concert in November.

Piano Pals Singing Happy Birthday – A Four-piano Concert will see Gabriel Kwok, Nancy Loo, Eva Lue and Tam Ka-kit reunited 20 years after they played the opening concert at the venue.

The quartet will be delighting audiences with a repertoire including Bach's Sicilienne and Brandenburg's Concerto No 3, as well as Bach's Concerto for Four Pianos, which they will play with the chamber orchestra of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

Tickets for the event, which takes place at 20:00 local time on November 12th, are priced from HK$100 (£8) to HK$250 and are available now.

Travellers planning a Hong Kong holiday in the near future could also visit the New Year's Eve Countdown Carnival, which is free of charge and takes place in Sha Tin Park.
