Bike and photography tours offered in Melbourne

For travellers who like to combine their love of exploring the great outdoors with amateur photography, there is a new tour in Melbourne that can fulfil both interests.

The cycling and photography tour offers tourists on Australia holidays the chance to learn tips from expert snapper Murray Johnson, before embarking on a bike tour of the city to practise their new skills.

People need not worry about their level of experience in either field, as the tours are open to absolute beginners and are tailored to suit individual needs.

Workshops begin at Federation Square in the city and cost around AU$99 (£48) for half a day.

Once holidaymakers have honed their new photography skills, they can try them out at the forthcoming Taste of Melbourne event, held at the Carlton Gardens and Royal Exhibition Building.

From August 27th to 30th, some of the city's top restaurants serve sample-sized plates of their signature dishes for visitors to sample along with an array of fine wines.
